Cost of participation
The Participant is obliged to pay the Conference participation fee according to the following price list:
- Early bird registration for EAHL members: 1380 PLN (300 EUR)
- Early bird registration for non-members: 1610 PLN (350 EUR)
- Early bird registration for young scholars EAHL members: 345 PLN (75 EUR)
- Early bird registration for young scholars: 460 PLN (100 EUR)
Early bird registration starts on Monday 13th November 2023 and closes at midnight on Friday 31st May 2024 CET.
- Standard registration for EAHL members: 1610 PLN (350 EUR)
- Standard registration for non-members: 1840 PLN (400 EUR)
- Standard registration for EAHL members young scholars: 690 PLN (150 EUR)
- Standard registration for non-members young scholars: 920 PLN (200 EUR)
Standard registration starts on Saturday 1st June 2024 and closes at midnight on Wednesday 31st July 2024 CET.
Book of abstracts and all events, excluding gala event, are included to the participation fee.
Organizing Committee offers a considerable privilege of free participation for maximum 10 young scholar submitting the best abstracts.
The EAHL Board of Directors offers special awards for the best oral presentation for young researchers and for the best poster. Award includes 500 euros for the best oral presentation and 250 euros for the best poster, as well as a waiver for the subscription fee for European Journal of Health Law and membership fee (both for 1 year)
The Organizing Committee offers all participant a free guided tour around OLD TOWN, NEW TOWN and the ROYAL ROUTE (Krakowskie Przedmieście street) on Wednesday 18th September 2024 at 12.00, before the opening session.
The European Association of Health Law offers max 20 scholarships for PhD students in the amount up to 500 (five hundred) euroseach as the reimbursement of travel expenses, accommodation costs during the conference and conference fee.
Basic requirements are:
- status of a PhD student during the 2023-2024 academic year and status of an EAHL member per 29 February 2024,
- willingness to be an active participant during the conference (and, in case of receival of scholarship, participation in the PhD workshop on 18 September 2024),
- presentation of invoices and confirmation of lack of other subsidies for documents submitted,
- submitting an application including CV (or academic records) and abstract (max 2 pages compatible with detailed requirements, incl. the subject related to both PhD research topic and European health-law or bioethical issues) to the email address eurohealthlaw@gmail.com by 31 March 2024.
Application for scholarship is accessible also for a PhD student who has already submitted the abstract (two different abstracts can be submitted).
The information on awards will be notified not later than 20 June 2024.
